Helen Baxendale is in 'Noughts and Crosses'

The brand-new television adaptation of the Award Winning novel series, 'Noughts and Crosses' by Malorie Blackman is finally here!

One of The Guardians '100 Best Books of The 21st Century', it was only a matter of time before this series was dramatized, but oh my goodness does it look like it's worth the wait. The cast is incredible, full of new talent and national treasures, including our fantastic Helen Baxendale. Helen plays Meggie, mother of Callum who is played back Jack Rowan, and if you know anything about the books, it sounds like she is in for an emotional time.

Don't miss the first episode on BBC One on Thursday 5th March.
