In spite of several years with the RSC playing several leading roles, his voice has lost none of its naturalness. He retains the solidity of mahogany, the versatility of pine, the gentleness of balsa and the authority of oak (without ever being as thick as a plank).
Hugh is well known for portraying Ric Griffin, the Consultant General Surgeon at 'Holby City' and the American Captain Panaka in 'Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace' and was most recently seen in BBC drama 'White Heat'.
