Abla Kandalaft is a an actress and voice over artist with a multicultural background. French, with Syrian and Lebanese origins and having grown up in the UK, she speaks Arabic, French and English to native standard. She has an academic background but also trained as an actress in Paris before moving back to London.
She has performed extensively on stage in all three languages. Credits include 'Quay West' (Koltes), 'Marie Tudor' (V.Hugo), 'Attempts on Her Life' (M.Crimp). She acted in and directed new play 'Manners' (A. Burrell) at the Théâtre de l'Etoile du Nord in Paris.
She has worked extensively as a voice over artist for commercials, institutional films and radio plays. She also freelances as a print and radio film journalist and translator.
