The first photographs for 'The Serpent' have finally been released!

We still don't know very much about when we'll get to see this new BBC One/Netflix series, but we know a little bit more about who is playing who!

The eight part series follows the true story of how murderer Charles Sobhraj was captured after his year long murdering spree in India, Thailand and Nepal in the 1970s. Jenna plays Sobhraj's partner, Marie-Andree Leclerc, as we follow the couple on the run. 

Billy Howle plays Herman Knippenberg, a junior diplomat at the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok who accidentally walks into Sobhraj's web of crime and sets of a chain of events that saw Knippenberg seek to bring Sobhraj to justice. 

The new series will premier on BBC One and Netflix International.
