Smoky, warm, spirited, northern.
Manchester born and bred, Milly has been a voice over since she was 7 years old, starting her acting career around the same time as a lead character in ITV’s ‘Children’s Ward’ in the 90s. A talented singer/songwriter she landed her first professional job with Basement Jaxx, going on to record lead vocals on four tracks across two of their albums - the NME crediting her for her ‘dreamy romanticism’. She has toured internationally with artists including Scissor Sisters, Gary Numan and The Temptations and through music has returned to the dramatic stage, working with Knee-high Theatre associates on gig theatre productions ’Songs for the End of the World’ (Battersea Arts Centre, National Theatre & Brighton Fringe) and ‘Fragment’ (The North Wall).
