Sophie Winkleman

Sophie Winkleman

Sophie started acting with the National Youth Theatre aged fifteen then hopped from the Perrier-nominated Cambridge Footlights show 'Far Too Happy', which Sophie co-wrote, to the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Peter Hall Company, interspersed with regular roles in many beloved TV series - comedies such as 'Peep Show' and 'Two and a Half Men', dramas including 'Endeavour', 'Waking the Dead' and 'Strike', and movies such as 'The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe'. She has also performed leading roles in many radio plays, most frequently in Jarvis and Ayres productions.

Her everyday voice is relaxed, mellifluous and intelligent but she's also versatile enough that she can practically do bloody anything.
