Adrian Lester and Nina Sosanya star in animated series 'Quentin Blanke's Box of Treasures'

We are very excited to see the new animated box set of specials coming to the BBC just in time for Christmas, 'Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures'.

This series - based on six of the illustrator’s beloved books - features not one but TWO Yakkers, as Adrian Lester will narrate the 6-part series and Nina Sosanya will bring Angela Bowling to life in Loveykins. They will be joined by Alison Steadman (Mrs Armitage) and Simon Pegg (Zagazoo, Snuff and Angel Pavement).

These beautifully crafted and engaging stories of fun, friendship and adventure will deliver family entertainment at its very best this festive season - we can't wait!
