Clara Amfo is Radio 1's New Chart Show Host

Clara Amfo has been announced as BBC Radio 1's new chart show host! The iconic chat show, whose previous hosts include the likes of Bruno Brookes (back in the day), Chris Moyles and Fearne Cotton, is said to now be under even greater scrutiny than ever due to social media and fan base interaction. 

Therefore Clara is taking on no mean feat, with these so-called 'fan-armies' bringing a new relevance to the chart show which they hope to see their respective artist top. This means that the show is set to be more involving and interesting than ever and we are certain she is going to be absolutely brilliant!

Clara is set to host her first show on the 25th January 2015 whilst continuing to host her weekend breakfast show on Radio 1 Xtra.
