Ewan McGregor to star in 'Doctor Sleep'

Horror fans, this one's for you!

Mike Flanagan (Haunting of Hill House, Gerald's Game) has produced the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's novel 'Doctor Sleep' - the sequel to 'The Shining' - and Ewan McGregor stars as the now adult Danny Torrance, Jack Torrance's (Jack Nicholson) son. The film follows Danny and antagonist Rose the Hat as they battle to the death over Abra Stone, a little girl with the shining, and Danny even takes a little trip back to Overlook Hotel... which is both a terrifying and an exciting thought! 

King fans will know the story well, but we won't give too much away! Although not quite as scary as 'The Shining', the intense, captivating and gorey sequel is set to be a massive sucess in the horror world, so much so that Warner Bros have brought the premier date forward from January 2020 to halloween this year!
