Exit The King!

                                                           

Tonight sees both Adrian Scarborough and Derek Griffiths star in the opening night of Patrick Marber's (the author of Closer, who more recently adapted Three Days in the Country and Hedda Gabler for the National) own adaptation of Eugene Ionesco's dark comedy 'Exit the King' in its first ever performance at the National Theatre. 

Alongisde Adrian & Derek, Rhys Ifans stars as the King, who is 400 years old and dying, while Indira Varma (Game of Thrones, Man and Superman) takes the role of his first Queen.

The tragi-comedy will be brought to life on the Olivier stage from tonight all the way through to the 8th September 2018.
