James Purefoy stars in Mitford Sister drama Outrageous

Period TV series Outrageous is streaming now on UKTV's U. This 6 episode drama is based on the six rather scandalous Mitford sisters and stars our very own James Purefoy as David Freeman-Mitford, the sisters' father.

The show dramatises the lives of the sisters, who refused to play by the rules and whose often-scandalous lives made headlines around the world. Set in the 1930s, it is a tale of betrayal, scandal, heartache and even imprisonment. In fact, one sister was well known for her dalliance with Adolf Hitler...

Outrageous was filmed in and around Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, so you can expect a genuinely beautiful backdrop to all of the scandal and intrigue.
