Multi-talented Milly Oldfield, aka Milly Blue, joins Yakety!

Need a pick-me-up to get you over the Spring snowstorm outside?! Well we've got just the thing help...

We are very excited to welcome the smoky dulcet tones of the multi-talented Milly Blue to the Yakety family!

Milly's soft Mancunian accent has been put to good use since the age of 7, as she started her acting career around the same time as a lead character in ITV’s ‘Children’s Ward’ in the 90s.

Not only a talented VO and actor, her skills as a singer/songwriter meant she landed her first professional job with Basement Jaxx, going on to record lead vocals on four tracks across two of their albums - the NME crediting her for her ‘dreamy romanticism’. She has toured internationally with artists including Scissor Sisters, Gary Numan and The Temptations too!

Through music Milly has returned to the dramatic stage, working with Knee-high Theatre associates on gig theatre productions ’Songs for the End of the World’ (Battersea Arts Centre, National Theatre & Brighton Fringe) and ‘Fragment’ (The North Wall).
