The brilliant Paapa Essiedu has joined the Yakety Yak family!

Since graduating from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Paapa's career has snowballed into the amazing one he has today. Paapa joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2012 and has been a permanent fixture on stage since, starring in plays such as 'Outside on the Street', 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Hamlet' for which he won the Ian Charleson Award in 2016 for his title role. Also noted when we won the award was his performance as Edmund in 'King Lear', which was so said to be full of 'chilling contempt and cynicism'. Paapa has also appeared in multiple TV shows, most recently as Ed Washburn in the BBC One Mini-series 'Press' and as Nate Akindele in Channel 4's 'Kiri'.

Paapa also has lots of stuff in the pipeline, including HBO's new TV Series 'Gangs of London' which we can not wait to watch.

He's a man of many talents, and even has his co-owns a theatre company, 'Invertigo'.
