After graduating from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Paapa won the 2016 Ian Charleson Award for his title role in 'Hamlet' for the RSC. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, winning a BAFTA 2021 nomination for Best Actor, as well as an Emmy Nomination 2021 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for I May Destroy You.
